Wind gust up to 50 mph and a little rain didn’t stop over fifty cars from cruising to Good Springs. The Sidepipers Car Club 2nd Annual Cruise to the Pioneer Saloon, sponsored by Downtown Smog Check, Martin the Barber, Downtown Tattoo, World Famous Coffee Cup and Sunday Slacker.
With the wind and rain, we expected a dozen cars or so. As we arrived at the M Resort and Hotel, we were surprised to see about fifty cars in the parking lot. Everyone was in good spirits, coffee in hand, hoodies and gloves. We were all happy to see everyone else and ready to roll.
The cruise from the M Resort to Good Springs is about 30 miles. We drove down Las Vegas Boulevard South to Jean. Headed right at the Gold Strike Hotel for another seven or so miles to Pioneer Saloon. A few of the clubs rolling were Sidepipers, Taildraggers, Freaks of Nature, Boozers, Vegas Valley Vetts, Old School Hot Rods, Hamsters Motorcycle Club, and many solo riders.
Free BBQ, vintage country music by Masters Vintage and plenty of good friends and drinks. A perfect Saturday even with not so perfect weather. Till next time.
