Las Vegas to Pomona, California. The Sunday Slacker crew hit the road on Friday. This year, Ben and Mellisa will joined us and unfortunately we decided to leave a Slacker. Poor Phoebe stayed behind. Once we checked in, we decided to hit the Back Abbey. They have a nice selection of Belgium beers. We called it a night early so we could be up on time.
Saturday – breakfast at the hotel, small talk with people that were headed to the GNRS. The California weather was perfect and traffic was not bad. Now the question, where do we start. We hit the cars on the grass, then up over the bridge. Last time we were there we didn’t notice the Fairplex Garden Railroad’s model trains. You could spend just as much time looking at all that detail as you do on a AMBR contender.
We hit building to building, chopped up conversations here and there. Hit up the Greenspan booth and Arte de Gustavo. Perfect timing, Josh Welton from Brown Dog Welding was there. He came down from AZ for the weekend.

Sunday – Little tired, someone pulled the fire alarm in the hotel. Hotel evacuation, fire trucks and all the guests of the hotel were out in the parking lot in the middle of the night. All good, false alarm. We just checked out of the hotel, headed to LA.
Next Cali show – March 18.
