The day started off well, I hit every green light this morning. Always kool when I can fly thru an intersection in my 48 Buick, you know the Slackers are on the move.
The other day I got a call from my good buddie Swig, with Swig Dog Designs. He was hitting up Joe Moreno’s shop for his annul pre-lowrider show BBQ. A few of the Slackers; Xman, Jose, Julian and I rolled by. Swig was stripping up a few items, the homies were grilling carne asada and chicken and I finally got a tour of Joe’s shop. Joe is well known in the lowriding world. Flip thru a few pages of Lowrider Magazine back in the mid eighties and you will see alot of his work. Its always good to kick back and hear the stories from back in the day. Names from the 70′s and 80′s, the scene in LA and the early scene in Vegas. We’ll have a full story on Joe soon.
