Chrome, Wires and Candy Paint - SEMA 2023
Each year, we see a steady increase in the number of lowriders displayed at SEMA. While the show is known for its trucks—lots of trucks—muscle cars, imports, and crazy one-off creations, lowriders are making their mark for those who embrace the "low and slow" lifestyle. Lowriders typically feature three key elements: wire wheels with whitewalls, candy-colored custom paint jobs with patterns, flakes, and pearls, and plenty of gold and chrome accents.
Sunday Slacker’s 1948 all original Buick was at the lowrider show down the street - only non original custom features is the 6volt Optima battery and black-on-black wire wheels. Maybe Coker can give me a spot next year for my 48 or Xman’s 1941 Chevy.
