Sunday Slacker is a printed publication born from the everyday — the usual moments that matter. Time in the garage with friends, cruising the blvd, BBQs at the park, car shows, or hanging at the barber shop. This is where stories live.

This project is a reflection of us, our community, and you. A collaboration between photographers, writers, and artists capturing the world through their lens — raw, honest, and unfiltered.

GABE GARCIA

The visionary. Grease Munky, lowrider, kustom builder, design director, publisher, beer and whiskey drinker. Publisher of Sunday Slacker Magazine.

NiKKI GARCIA

The heart and soul. Nikki is the voice of reason and has the passion for life, classics, wine and whiskey. Publisher of Sunday Slacker Magazine. 

Nikki is building a custom 1946 Chevy and a 1984 Buick Regal.

PHOEBE

She travels with the Sunday Slacker crew often and enjoys the hotel rooms while we are at the show. Phoebe is no longer a puppy, she is 4 years old. She is a red nose pit, a gift from Jose and Xavier.

JOSE AND XAVIER

The brothers - long time friends and Sunday Slacker representatives. Jose is currently working on a chopped custom 1941 Cadillac and he also owns a custom Ford Thunderbird and Xavier is building a full custom 1941 Cddy, 1941 Chevy and 1964 Impala.

BEN AND MELISSA

The mechanic and the chef. Ben is a aircraft mechanic and project manager for Sunday Slacker. When he's not helping with Slacker projects he is working on his 1929 Ford Hot Rod and a daily driver 1973 Chevy pickup. Melissa keeps the crew fed and the party going with beers and cocktails.

VICTOR "POPS" GARCIA

The party starts when Pops shows up. Ready to talk shop, ladies and camping with a glass of vino.
